The Grand Massif Ski area..

This attractive area just one hour from Geneva (50km) faces Mont Blanc and includes four charming traditional resorts - Morillon, Samoëns, Sixt-Fer-à-Cheval and Les Carroz - and the modern resort of Flaine.

The chalet is situated just outside Samoens on the banks of the Giffre river. Samoens is now directly linked to the Grand Massif via a new gondola. A free ski bus takes you direct to this from the chalet front door so there is literally no walk to the lifts!

France's fourth biggest ski area has over 265 km of piste and offers a great variety of terrain for all levels, reliable snow and a lack of queues.  From the central Tête des Saix, north-facing runs drop down steep mogul slopes towards Samoëns while on the opposite side of the valley, easier pistes fall through tree-lined trails towards Morillon. The small ski area of Sixt also links into the Grand Massif via the 15km 'Cascades' blue run from Flaine. There are outstanding off-piste possibilities all over the mountain, and the 3 'Jamparks' offer snowboarders some of the best conditions in Europe.
